I have a friend who is a fabricator. He always has it on the bench. Sez it helps to make more precise parts, makes sense!

I rest my case.

Thanked: 45Yeah, I learned it from one of Nick Wheeler's WIP threads on bladeforums. It's great for scribing and all that. It's really like liquid Sharpie ink.
Had to put in some work on the house and everything, so I'll hopefully wrap this bad boy up tomorrow! I'm thinking honey horn or ebony for the scales. Votes?Let me know if you need any help with shaving, honing, etc.

Thanked: 45Finish ground and bevel set. I've got the scales glued up right now, but not shaped, etc. I went with a pretty cool combo that I think y'all will get a kick out of Stay tuned.

Wow. I can't wait to see it completed. I agree, horn scales would be perfect.

Thanked: 45Had a chance to finish everything up yesterday. I went with ebony scales and a mokume wedge. The metal wedge let me get the scales pretty thing while still maintaining balance. I think that the combination worked well, giving us a nice spin on the whole vintage feel.
Thanks for looking y'all.
