    Hi to all,

    I start with forging a new one straight razor...

    Will be interesting to see what you create, I really like the razor you made for me

    What are the project parameters for this build?

    Hi Andrew! I'm glad you still like it.

    Simple task this time. Have to be practical for use and easy for hone. I don't have to say it must be sharp and good shaver

    Ready for hardening...


    830 °C inside of gas forge


    After hardening is close to 65 HRC.


    Today I have to temper her down to 59 - 60c HRC.

    What is the black stuff on the spine in the first pic? (Sorry but I don't know much about forging etc)
