So here is the bevel set so far. Charlie , I tried to send you a pm with these pics but couldn't for some reason. Anyway , to all. You can see uneven bevel . one pic is one side , one is the other side. thickness of the blade is uneven. but not so much so . So, any ideas what I can do to correct this . the thinnest point of the razor is 0.005 . the thickest is 0.009 .

I think you are doing really well. Your next razor will be a little better and one after that will be a step above that.
To loosely paraphrase what Mike Blue told me, "after your first hundred blades you will start to know what you are doing" that is quoted wrong, but that is the way I interpreted it.

Thanked: 5thanks for all the likes on this one. Still trying to get it honed on the entire blade and shave ready . Boy, that is some work , and patience is needed. tip of blade having trouble getting shave ready , but heel got there quick. So, I am thinking it is just not sitting completely flat on the hone . practice , practice , practice. Got a set of scales on it now also. I will have to post pics at some point .
