Thanked: 12Latest Razor Build
I just finished up my latest razor. It took about a week on and off working basically when I could find extra time to. This one turned out a little better than the last two that I posted as far as grinding went. The specs are:
Steel: O1
Width: 8/8
Grind: 1/4 to 1/2 Hollow
Scales: Green MOP Kirinite
Wedge: SS
Pins: Nickel Silver with SS washers
Features a twist in the tang, barbers notch and file work on the spine. The shaving edge is 2 3/4 long and a total length of 5 3/4 from tip of the razor to the tip of the thumb notch.
Feed Back appreciated. I did get some feedback from some senior members with the request that I send one or two razor around to some people for some trial shaves and I would be open to that. I will be working on two razors in the next month in order to send them out to get some feedback as far as function is concerned for you can only critique pictures so much. When I get them done I will post pictures and go from there. They will be made from either 1095 or O1 or maybe one of each

Thanked: 28Very nice work. I love the green scales and the very nice metal work. I am a newby with this hobby, but it sure looks like a very great quality piece of work you created. I wish I only had such talent. Most of all it looks to be a great shaver as well as a thing of beauty.
