Default Kamisori info so I can build one

    Hi all,

Pretty keen to make a kamisori but want to do it right.

Can anyone provide, or point me in the direction of, information about size, shapes, grinds and the names of the different grinds, styles etc

I did have a trawl through the forum without a great deal of success and the Internet seems to just want to sell them to me.

Happy to purchase a book if one is available

    Thanks for your help

The best thing you can do is buy a cheap busted one on ebay and handle it in person to get a real feel for the design. There are no books i am aware of, and diahrams and drawings are far less useful than holding one in your hands

eBay Australia has two @ $270 a pop! A touch expensive, may have to look further abroad!
