    Did you fold the steel over or add another steel before the weld?

    As you can see on first picture I added small piece of carbon steel on right side of bigger iron piece (just on this picture. Later you can see carbon steel on left side of kamisori - dark parts). Then I weld that 2 parts of steel on top.

    It's hard for me to tell because I don't like to praise my self. But shave was smooth and close.
