Default Why The Forge is slow

The forge is slow because everyone is at Charlie Lewis' Razor Meet. Forge talk will resume after we return home and rest.

We took plenty of pics and movies. Randy / Ron are in charge of cleaning it all up.
I took a lot of pics as well. When I get back, I'll sort them and put pics online.

Mouse is doing just fine. We took pics with mouse and howard and mike.
Mouse has also become the mascot of the group of people attending the razor meet in person.
I'll let victor do the explaining on the details.

After some discussion, we decided to open up the Artisan Razor Smithing Experts group on facebook.
It has a narrow focus, which is to be a fb spot for people actually involved in making razors, and everything to do with the matellurgy and building processes. It is not for general razor discussion, restoration, honing, soaps, making brushes, advertising, drama and politics, or whatever else. It is a place to bring razor makers together in a similar fashion as in the texas meet at Charlie's workshop.

The group was founded by me, during the breakfast meeting at Burkburnett's diner where the food was absolutely fabulous.
Charlie and I are the group admins.

The new group is not for replacing the forge obviously, which is still our number one spot.
It is however a convenient way for those of us on fb to quicklychat with people from all over the place, who might not be daily contributors here.
