Why The Forge is slow
The forge is slow because everyone is at Charlie Lewis' Razor Meet. Forge talk will resume after we return home and rest.

We took plenty of pics and movies. Randy / Ron are in charge of cleaning it all up.
I took a lot of pics as well. When I get back, I'll sort them and put pics online.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

After some discussion, we decided to open up the Artisan Razor Smithing Experts group on facebook.
It has a narrow focus, which is to be a fb spot for people actually involved in making razors, and everything to do with the matellurgy and building processes. It is not for general razor discussion, restoration, honing, soaps, making brushes, advertising, drama and politics, or whatever else. It is a place to bring razor makers together in a similar fashion as in the texas meet at Charlie's workshop.
The group was founded by me, during the breakfast meeting at Burkburnett's diner where the food was absolutely fabulous.
Charlie and I are the group admins.

The new group is not for replacing the forge obviously, which is still our number one spot.
It is however a convenient way for those of us on fb to quicklychat with people from all over the place, who might not be daily contributors here.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Bruno, you know I am not a metal worker but I would like to be able to join this new group so as to keep expanding my knowledge and information base in the wet shaving area. I doubt I will ever post in it but I do have a love of acquiring facts and knowledge I can't do anything with for the joy of learning. As it is often said, you never know when that fact can come in handy.
