O2 in the US!!!!
Somebody has managed to track down O2 from a major manufacturer in the US, Starrett!!!! So you European guys bring out your HT recipes!!!!
I really want to try it in my damascus mix.

The same as O1. Make it hot, quench in preheated oil, temper for an hour at 200C.

Semi-false alarm. It turns out that this is a small batch of leftover 1/4 and 1/8 stock from back in the 80's or 90's when Starrett was still selling O2. i will likely buy a little bit just so I can make some super dark mosaic damascus, but no regular supply is forthcoming for us poor schlubs in the US.
