dmblade damask with blue2 core
It's been a while since my last post here...
I started with 12 layers (6x 80Crv2 and 6x 15N20) TIG welded to hold in place
Forge welded
Forged
Cuted on 4 pcs and forge welded again, and then forged to this shape
Cuted again and ...
After forging, cuted on 2 pcs. and in middle I put piece of blue 2 as core
Forge welded and forged to lenght of edge. Also i start to draw tail

More forging to shape
Cuted with angle grinder to shape
Middle marked
Grinded on 160 mm wheel
Damask started to appear
Quick ech
For now that's it
12x4x4x2 + 1 = 385 layers
Next to do HT. Stay tuned.

Thanks guys for kind words.
Heat treatment passed well.
Start of afterHT grinds
On 160 mm wheel
Grinded on fi 160, pa fi100, pa fi 80, fi70 and for end fi60 mm wheel...
Here I start with rough shapeing of scales...
After shop I moved to my kitchen and started with hand sanding and polishing...
all way to 1500 grit
