Forged In Fire TV show: do you guys watch?
This my son. He didn’t even tell me he auditioned or anything. Boy, this was a surprise.
I hope you all will tune in and watch my son. There’s a promotional clip on Facebook at the Forged In Fire page. We are very excited.Last edited by Longhaultanker; 06-07-2019 at 01:50 AM.
A little advice: Don't impede an 80,000 lbs. 18 wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.

Thanked: 480I watch when new episodes air on Hulu, so I'm pretty far behind. I know 2 other fellas that have been on, one of them a winner, one a finalist, and I'm under the impression they are under secrecy clause to not say anything to anyone about the show. Good Luck to him (though I realize its already done filming by now)

Yes, he had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Didn’t tell me nothing!

Thanked: 292I do not watch TV very often as there is rarely anything good on the networks, even with 100+ cable channels. However, I do occasionally watch some of the Forged in Fire episodes, especially when you can watch in marathon style. I will have to remember to turn it on next Wednesday to see your son.
BTW, it does not look like your son has had a blade anywhere near his face recently, but what does he use to shave his head?

It's a guilty pleasure for both my girlfriend and me.
There are plenty of bladesmiths who slag the show off, but I think it's fun. Also, when I talk about having a delamination in a billet of pattern-welded steel, she now knows what I'm talking about, which is welcome.
I do wish the smiths would leave their damn steel in the quench though. Those fireballs might make for good TV, but they sure don't do much for the quality of the heat treatment.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I’ll be sure to watch now that I know it’s your son on there! Very cool and exciting.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
