If we'd had one this year it was fully my intention to make a video / picture montage to 'happy together'.
Ideally it would have been a singalong but getting volunteers might have posed a problem.

Maybe we could do a reunion in Vegas?

I have this problem with closure. We had to cancel with Covid, and then again with Covid, and in the back of my mind there was always the idea that we'd have a post-Covid blowout and the fact that I may not see many of you in person again itches in my head like sand in a gear.

Except that you couldn't post the video since what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

For what it is worth I feel similar.

But then again when I use one of the kitchen knives that you made from the steel that I assembled or use of your razors. Since I have met you in person there is a connection that I think of.

My Bruno's shave better than any of my other razors.
I think it is the heft and balance. I do like a big razor.

I always liked to watch the guys work on making their razors and knives. Some had to work really hard because they did not have prior experience and others who had that prior experience made it look much easier. But in all cases, they shared their knowledge freely. That was the really good part.
It should be remembered that we were the only free straight razor-making get-together in the whole of the USA, for many years!
    We did good!

If it meant seeing having a big meetup, that's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make!

You can generalize by substituting razor with blade and it'd still be true.
The concept of free sharing has become very rare in the knife world.

At some point our meets will start up again. We will meet at those and see each other again.
