I sure hope so Shaun, but if someone has the space and equipment that Charlie had, and the ability to attract people from all across the country and the world, I firmly believe that they would have already stepped up.

We can only hope that we all have the good fortune to meet again.

Baby steps Pete. First we need to simply start getting together and then work through the details.

Maybe some regional meetings would be a good start. I've thought about a Florida meeting. There are a bunch of us here. I don't really have the facilities myself but would love to attend one

I always looked forward to the the meets at my shop, by the same token I was always happy when they were over. We had a good run. No body lost an eye, finger, or got seriously burned. it was always hectic crowded conditions around the hot work area.

I am relieved to have the building sold, I was made a good offer from somebody that I like. I am also Thankful we did not have a meet this February it was a stressful time without the meet. My Mother died and there were health issues with other family members.

I am looking forward to going to a razor meet sometime. Thanks mainly to Randy's cat herd abilities, there have been some great meets in the past. I would like to attend another one.

The first meet in Asheville was eye opening for me. The meets at Toms, Shams, and Lynns were all a great time. I look forward to the future.

I was only able to make the last meet, but I'm glad I did.The comradeship was outstanding! It truly was a pleasure to meet everyone. I'd met some other members but it was thrilling to meet everyone. Hell I actually made a razor instead of a Razor Shaped Object! It's one of my favorites. Yes Charlie, I remember what you said when you found out it was the first razor I'd made--

I'd been able to send some of Carolyn's cinnamon biscuits before but this time I was able to bring them myself along with the hot and sweet hot mustards. Yes they were good with some sausages.

As far as knives go, I've got one that Scott made and one that Bruo's daughter made, both are used regularly.

This is the first that I have heard of your mothers passing Charlie.
It was an honor and a privilege to have known her and been subject to her quick wit.
May the Good Lord take a sweet liking to her soul and
May She Rest In Eternal Peace

Charlie I am sorry hearing about your mother. Each one of us has one and they are special!

Tomorrow being Mothers day I called mine and after a long talk the best gift I can give her is a feeder Gold Fish for the sculplture in her yard.

    Sorry for your loss, Charlie.
This is the first year for me to not be able to get my mother a Mothers Day Present and to give her a call. It still surprises me some days knowing she is gone.
My best to you my brother.

True. Some minor scrapes and burns but nothing serious.
    No thanks to paco though...
