    Default Two ready for scales.....

    Well guys here are the first two handmade razors from me that I did not throw away. I will have some others real soon. The steel is high carbon steel.

    Don't know yet. Still grinding on a bunch of others. I will finish those first then start on scales.

    Those blades are great. I really like the shape of the tangs and tails.

    Grinding more blades? That makes me envious. Now I am waiting to see more.

    Great work! How big is that lip lopping chopper on the bottom?

    The top razor is a 6/8+ and the bottom is 17/16 at the toe.

    Thanks for the complement!

    They were heat treated in a propane fired forge, quenched in oil and tempered in my kitchen oven at 400 for 2 hours.
