JoeD can elaborate, but he has some sort of a die that has all different sized hemispheres in it. I don't quite remember, but I know some of his gear is from Harbor Freight (I think that's the name of the place), and their prices tend to be reasonable (or so I'm told).
Pretty much what I'm saying is if you drop JoeD a line, he can give you some info.

Yep, I have a Doming and Damping set from Harbor Freight. I'm not a big fan of their stuff but for the price it was a good local find.
I don't use tubing for my washers, I use domed flat washers I picked up at Micro fasteners in both ss and brass. The I bang them into the doming block with the punch. Buff to a polish after penning the pins.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Thanked: 124I believe it's "doming and dapping," not "damping"

Thanked: 2209I buy my brass tubing and rod at a local hobby shop. Check out yours. Also, Ebay has it available.
