Default Buddel Razor with olive wood

This is also a razor, that I forged at my first "blacksmith-lesson". It is from a high-chrome-steel 1.2436. This is not a stainless steel but nevertheless very water resistant. The back and the shank are etched.
Handle is from olive wood with a brass wedge.

    Nicely done !!!
The lines are classic with just the right touch of art...

God I love Olivewood.. So easy to work, such a tight grain near waterproof from Mother Nature.... and damn good looking...

I like this a lot. I might try to find some olive wood for my first attempt at rescaling with inspiration like this.

Now if I could just make the blades...

    Love that Olivewood!

This razor has lots of eye appeal. The perfect curve of the scales, the complementary color match and attention to detail in the curve in the brass spacer and the ends of the scales - yummy!!!

    Beautiful work gabor.

The blade reminds me a bit of the Friodur 7/8.

Good choice on the olive wood.

Wow! Very nice. I am impressed and I respect people who have skills like this. I don't know what God has in mind for me, but I don't have skills like these. That is beautiful work.
