    Default Greaves Restore

My first total restoration replacing only new brass rod for the pins. Razor was in fair condition I guess delaminating at the pivot end and a concerning crack at the wedge pin runing to the front of the scale Epoxy worked great just very dry and flaking neatsfoot bath infact that was my first step before I un-pinned . the blade had been put to a grinder prior to my getting it and after allot of hours sanding I just decided to retreat. Im real happy with the results, evan though the dome washers dont sit well on the scales the pins are tight. The work was really enjoyable. I included a before pic as well

Thanks tat2ralfy and other members for the help and encouragement

Ahh,so you're the one who bought that.I was watching that one.The famed fencing foils Greaves.I got scared off by what looked like a deeply pitted area near the end of the blade.Looks like it came out alright.Good work on the restore!
