Default BIRTH OF A RAZOR: part 3 - Scales

I have just added part 3 - Scales. This is the 3rd and final installment of Birth of a razor. In this album I show the making of the scales for the Blue Whale.
These scale get a CA finish, but any finish will do.
There are many ways to skin a cat. This is how mine gets skinned. Sometimes the fun is in figuring out a different or better way. All that is important is to enjoy yourself and have fun!!!!!!!

Sorry to say I still can't make a link so...go to my profile or community;pics and albums;boballman's albums

If any if my friends can put up a link...please do

    Thanks again

    Bob

Bob, these pictorials have been a joy to look at. I hope you will continue posting them as they are really quite educational and I am fascinated with all the steps you go through.

Just in the small amount of time that I've been around, I'm still amazed at just how much fine, quality work has been going on here. It's all beautiful and it just continues to grow and grow.

Very nice work and thanks for sharing the process. I love watching the step-by-step process of it all.

    Bob,
I thought the scales episode would be a while to come out.
Look forward to these so much, was pleasantly surprised when I found this tutorial (will have to get a bandsaw)
