Thanked: 182a kiln is some of the best $ a maker can spend to keep HT in check and allow to lock in the right times and temps for the steel you are using
i got my kiln before i had a reall grinder (was working on a 1x42 delta grinder)

I would love to make a razor and was wondering if an electric kiln would work this is the first Iv'e seen it used. That is cool. My wife was talking about getting into pottery a while ago so could this be a double purpose item?
It sure would make convincing her easier.

Thanked: 4How hot have you been able to get the kiln to? I know of a maker with the Sugar Creek 220v model and loves it, but I only have 110v in my garage and people have had issues with the 110v evenheat model not getting to temp well.

Thanked: 6ovens
Ill be honest you have wasted your money sell it as fast as you bought and dont lok back 220 is the only way to go. But if your real serious a salt pot is the only way to go for the serious maker. EMAIL ME if you want to talk freely [email protected]
