    These guys inspired me with the Purist, then the Plagairist, so I had to make one of my own. I know it's not even close to these guys work, but I'm proud of it and can't wait till I get it to the stones and see how well it really works. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Love it...actually quite fitting. I took it to the stones and started to shave with it and...quit. Took it back to the stones (3K) and up and...quit. I've went back down to 1K to get the bevel where it needed to be. Let me tell you that if you ask one of the heat treat guys to push the Hrc and they do (this tested to 61 Hrc), it takes a bit to get it just right. The smiling wedge didn't help matters much either. I think that I have it now, just don't have a beard (I got impatient on the second try and grabbed a razor from my rotation to finish up). I have to say that it actually feels odd in my hand. I have this one:

    and it just feels natural in the hand. I'm thinking that maybe it's because I don't have enough material for the fingers to hang onto. Have to really be careful when stropping, feels like you could "loose it".
