Where do you get steel from?
Hi, I was wondering where you get your steel from? Do you get it locally, or is there anywhere on online I can get it? Thanks.

In the US I order from Enco and NJ Steel Baron, LLC - Home
I would ask the question on the British Blades forum for UK suppliers

Thanked: 983I've used all these and found them to be reliable. I hate to say it, but it has sometimes been cheaper to buy from a U.S supplier with the cost of shipping included, than my local mob in the last link.
I've tried to source quality steel in my own area but I've had issues with either, the companys will only deal in large orders, or the people have no idea what I'm talking about when I use commonly designated grade names for steel i.e O1, D2, 440c, ATS34.
