Default Thanks Bill E., Tim Z., Butch H., Maximillian

Tried my hand at making a razor.

7/8 1/4 hollow, 52100 steel @63rc, <.005 thickness at the edge, ivory micarta

    Hope you like it.

I've got a lot to learn.

    Shaves great, my new favorite.

One of my favorite styles, it looks well done!

    Way to go Devin.
I see you went shoulderless for your first. Nice. I bet it shaves well.
I can't wait to eventually see you make one in your awesome Damascus patterns.

Wow, that is one hell of a first post, and a phenomenal first razor. I'll tell you what--most of us have a lot more to learn than you do. I envy your obvious skill and look forward to more.

Oh, and I will gladly volunteer to hone and test your next razor for you.

That is a great looking razor. If your first looks that good, I cant wait to see the second.

It is a good feeling to shave with a self made razor, happy shaving.

Very nice indeed! I'm not sure if it's that you have a background in precision work or are just a natural...either way you nailed it for your first razor and I look forward to any others you make in the future...thanks for sharing.
