Default I think I have a new AD!!!

OMG I would love to make my own razor. I have made my own fly rods and ty my own flies and would love to try this. I am a very hands on type of person. Also good with my hands, despite what my wife says.
I'm sure there are books and videos out on the subject. Any suggestions as to where to start?

Just read thru the "forge" and you will find several detailed accounts on low budget razor making.

Yeah I guess this post was a bit premature. I have seen lots of helpful advice there too. First I gotta get it past the wife. But I am excited just thinking about making my own razor. Any advice for a first build to keep it as easy as possible. I know its not going to be easy. I think you might know what I mean.
