Do these size wheels represent a known or commonly used ratio? Or, were they just suitable given the pieces forged? Asked another way, did you forge to the wheel sizes, or did you choose the wheel sizes to suit the piece forged? How did you come to choose those particular sizes? I'm a complete layman, but am fascinated with the kamisori. I have one, shave with it about every fourth time, and admire the sophistication dwelling in something that looks so simple. Forgive me if my questions don't make sense.

Since a kamisori needs different hollows, you just need to take 2 wheel sizes that are sufficiently far apart.
The exact ratio doesn't matter afaik.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
