Where to get an electric motor?
In the process of a belt grinder build and an thinking a 2hp 1725 motor. Any advise on where to get a good deal besides Ebay...?

Thanked: 2284Any surplus stores near by?? I know here in Ontario we have some. An old furnace fan motor is another option. Or check a local classified website for one???? Maybe some of the other guys might have some better options.

I've seen them in army surplus stores, and machinist workshops etc.
