Portable band saw..?
Seeing I am limited on space, I just bought a "used" Milwaukee 6230Porta Band deep cut saw. I plan on mounting it to a Swag Porta Band table. Anyone here use one for cutting razor blanks?

Thanked: 995Little saws like these are surprisingly good tools. I got one of the DeWalt battery one's (cause I got a lot of their other tools) and I am embarrassed that I put off buying one for so long it's so useful. Good blades make all the difference. Fine tooth count for thin stock, you'll want at least two teeth in the work at all times.

Thanked: 1936That's just another "want" on my list. I need to finish my current projects first before I jump into another one.

I have not used one of these small saws a lot, but I have used one maybe a dozen times at a friends shop. I was always happy with the way that it worked. I think it is a smart buy.
