Default Just thought I'd share a good product.

This is a bit off topic, but relates to grooming, so I figure it's fair game in general.

Anyway, I've always had trouble trimming my nose hairs. I've owned and used three different rotary cutters (two powered, one manual). Have also tried small curved scissors and plucking (ouch, sneeze, ouch, repeat). My wife finally got me a little doo-dad called the Remington Precision Trimmer - MPT-3000 for Christmas. In short, it's vertically oriented reciprocating trimmer with a very, very small head.

I can't sing it's praises enough. I can very quickly trim my nose hairs, it takes virtually no time, and it is far better at removal than the rotary units. I have broken my nose in the past, so my nose is a little off center, and it's still easy with this thing. I think it only costs around $10 at Walmart, Target, etc...

    Good luck,
    John

Matches work well too. And any 3/8 razor or barber tip razor.

Looks cool. The rotarys are OK and get most of it but leave something to be desired.

    Matches, Michael?

My in-laws bought me something similar for Christmas - a remington something-or other with interchangeable heads. There's a little attachment for the nose and *ahem* ears, plus a beard trimmer attachment with little moustache-sized combs. Very useful indeed.

Heh, reminds me of that one time in college the guys were trying to light their farts and this one guy succeeded. Unfortunately he was still wearing his underwear so instead of flames coming out his asterisk he got ... well ... umm ... you ever seen those glowing mantles they use in coleman lanterns? Pretty much that, only with a fruit-of-the-looms label on it. He wasn't really happy once he sobered up.

Remember kiddies, it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. Then it's just fun.

I just had a flashback to dorm days - no pun intended.

I'd like to see someone do that on video before I do it myself.
