It appears as the team captain can link/join the entire team to a network in one shot or choose to join as an individual.
So the network grew by three members when I linked the US team to it.

As I understand it, most anyone should be able to join unless you live in a place considered "rest of the world". And no, I'm afraid I don't know exactly what is meant by "rest of the world". However, they are working towards eliminating that rest of the world glitch, so hopefully next year truly everyone should be able to join.

looks like that is what was anticipated by Kris.

An individual can join by searching for the network from there personal mospace page,
or if they are part of a team the team captain can search for the network from their personal mospace page,
when the captain joins it should pop up a box and ask:
Join as individual
or
Join as team

I am glad to see this growing.

I have been using the mo tracker, but as the photos are black and white my mo really doesn't show up, anyone know if there is an option to make them colour?

Yeah, I had "fun" sculpting mine. Bit last night.

I can only find a my networks tab on my mospace page, but no option for actually joining one, I do use the mobile version though. Does anyone know how I can join or does captain havachat need to do it for the whole Australian team?
