I have done a test run for the last week or so.
I will take it off and start with a clean upper lip come November 1.
This test run has proven two things.
A month is a very long time and I hate this brush of hair on my upper lip
According to my wife I look like a German gay-pornstar from the early seventees....
Someone better cough up some dough and donate to my mo-space, cause this is gonna be horrificLast edited by Birnando; 10-22-2013 at 01:58 PM.

I feel your pain, mine comes in a lovely shade of blonde, there are not many things greasier than a light blonde stache.

It could be worse, you could be both ranga's with grated carrot looking 'stashes

And if it's any consolation my facial hair growth is such that my 'stash and the rest if my facial hair are only connected by a very narrow bridge, so I can't grow a dirty handlebar/merv Hughes/red dog looking 'stash, I am going to be stuck with a used car salesman looking thing. But I am thinking of enlarging my sideburns somewhat too.

Thanked: 983
My wife burst out laughing and said something similar to me when she saw me with a moustache sans goatee for the first time.
I can do a great Fu Man Chu myself, but as a Merv look-a-like?! It'll never happen. My mo doesn't like to meet up at all in the middle. The whiskers are too sparse, so I cull them for the sake of tidiness.

Thanked: 284I've got a nice handlebar going on with my goatee, so I couldn't bear to cut it. But I'm in for a donation. By the way, should anyone want to keep their stache, I just tried out Fisticuff's Mustache Wax. I like it and you get more of it for your money than others it seems. Not tied to the company or anything, just think it's a good product...

So I just set up my Movember page. Hopefully the link will turn out right. My dad's a prostate cancer survivor and I saw a video done in the last year that said that Movember's #1 goal is getting a better cancer screening process than Doc's ole Number One! I'm all for that...especially as I get closer to having to have these screenings myself!
I started my own team for church members and friends to join if they like. SRPer's welcome!
