Default Storage on Tail or Wedge??

OK can't seem to find any topic on this so thought I would ask the question of the SRP veterains here for the rest of us.
I see a lot of different Razor storage stands & methods, but is there a correct method to stand razor?
Should they be on there tails or on the wedge?

I only have a single home made Tail stand for the razor that was last used, then it is put in the draw in a sleeve for the next rotation.

I personally believe in tail storage as this is steel & less chance of damaging the scales or wedge.
But then the theory that the moister made stay at the pivot could be said maybe?

Is there a true theory for standing razor or is it just personal preferance?

    What is the general concensus?

I use a modified toothbrush holder for what is in my current rotation. (and one stand I bought with my only new blade)
In the holder I store them Tail up more for safety when removing them.
Long term storage they lay flat, as long as they are dried properly I would dare say it is a preference thing.

I didn't think of the possible safety side of a blade opening as you pick it up as I like tight pivots that are not that loose. but I like the idea of it.
