    Don't know if this video has been seen here before, but Mr. Kay places a hot towel on a customer during this *day in the life* of an old time barber. Notice the steam coming from the towel as it's being placed on the customers face:

    In Jorge's video, what is the "powder" the barber is talking about at the end that takes away shine?? Never heard of this.

    Most likely it is shave talc. Such as Pinaud's.
