Thread: Anyone from Oahu?

Looks like I'll be taking the family on vacation for a few weeks on the north side of Oahu this spring and was wondering if there are any good shaving stores or SRP members there to visit. I've been there quite a few times but it was all on the south side and before I realized straight razor shaving was the only way to go.

Seems like someone was looking for some Hawaii members once before, and found a few. Here's a link to do a search. You'll have to use several searches because, as I remember their locations were a bit fragmented by just Hawaii and then by island or town.

Heh, what a coincidence, I was just doing some reading about that Island this evening.
My wife and I will go there come March. staying for a fortnight

I love the Islands but Oahu would not be my choice.
As a sport fisherman it is sad to see that most of the reefs around Oahu are dead because of pollution.
Lots of people.lots of traffic.

Given a choice I'd go to one of the other islands as well - but - my in-laws keep a place there for the family, so free is good! I'll pick up tickets for short trips to the other islands for an overnight or two if the mood hits. But there are enough out of the way place on Oahu that we generally just stay there. Haven't been there in about 12 years so that may have changed.

thanks! didn't realize there was that search function. Oh man that can be dangerous....

You have probably already done this but don't miss out on some side trips to the other islands. I have not seen them all but lived on the North Shore of Oahu for 5 years, Maui for 1 year and a nice trip to Kauai. All beautiful places........

No way!!
On average I head to Mililani about once a year - never knew this was located there! Learn something new everyday.
Guess where I'll be going next time I visit??
