Looks like I get to pass on a few things
Found out yesterday my wife is giving me a son
Not that a girl would have been bad, I simply would have been wrapped around their finger till I was planted.
Already looking forward to giving him a blunt straight or DE without a blade to shave with me when they're young and teaching him to shave when he gets his first bum fluff beard!
That and all the male orientated things I own, razors, watches etc. will all have someone to go to.
One very happy daddy to be!Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on!

Congratulations Dave, is this your first? Not sure how you are going to go shaving when you are so tired you want to throw up . Not that the tiredness will bother you, it too exciting to be bothered by such things.
I would recommend not holding your son up above your face whilst lying in the floor just after he has eaten, baby sick in your eyes and mouth isn't fun, but it is funny, for everyone else in the house.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Congratulations!
I have a daughter in University and a son in highschool, he can't wait to get into shaving. He's already got it planned out. He feels he'll have to start with a cartridge, to get used to shaving. Then he figures he'll use a DE for a couple of times to get used to a single blade and the sharpness of it. Then he's going to, "have a look at the collection" and decide which one he likes.
I said, yea right, you get my blades when you bury me or the nurses take them away from me.
So he has all this decided, so my response to this, was, with all that planning, exactly when do you plan to smash my car?

Cynic! Phrank, what a cynic you are. That's what they are supposed to do. As to the razors, at that time make sure you super glue them to your hands. That way you can take them with you.

Congratulations!!!
I'm the proud father of 2 girls and 1 boy + 4 grandchildren now. Each and every time 'we' were expecting people would ask me what I wanted; 'A Boy or A Girl'. I always told them that all I wanted was a 'healthy' one!
I hope All will understand what I'm trying to say!!Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

I was the same. When the old meat and 2 veg made an appearance I'm not going to say I wasn't happy.
Boy or girl would have been great but for different reasons.
As for some of the other posts, I really hope he's better behaved than I was as a teen. I drove my Ma and Da (the Geordie way of saying it. Harden the vowel and elongate it) bonkers.
