I told her Dr. ' ' I've seen pups, calves, kittens, colts and even human babies born! It's pretty much the same thing! I won't pass out or give you any problems!

She replied; "Well yes, it's all pretty much all the same"! I was allowed to be in the delivery room!

When our second child was about to join us in this wonderful world, the wife went from a '2' to a '10' in about 60 seconds! The DR hadn't even gotten his gown and gloves on and I'm like Johnny Bench as I could see the head coming out!

I told the Dr; "Do you want me to catch him or are you going to let him fall on the floor??

The Dr, immediately stepped in and 'caught' my son! Thus justifying his fees!!
    Brilliant

I'm sure it'll be an experience but scared all the same. That said I'm sure me thinking that quite a few people down the ages have done it will give me some comfort.

Sorry, I'm using the old iphone primarily due to shifts and I missed this. I hope all goes swimmingly and your little one arrives safe and well. Do you know what you're having?

Wriggling and loud! I've just been listening to ours moving around. Can't hear a heartbeat with the home listeners yet.

We were both a bit excited and we had the mother in law with us for the second scan so decided to find out. I'm normally really very patient

And why couldn't you do that with a little girl, one of my two enjoyed it as much as the boys.
She is an avid hunter and outdoors woman now.

Well since I'm an old fart take this with as many grains of sand as you want:

'Personally' I think that finding out the gender before birth is like sneaking into where your Christmas presents are 'hidden' opening them and then carefully re-wrapping them and then 'Try' to be surprised when you open them!

As far as using the available technology to check for unseen problems is a Great Thing! I just don't believe in 'Peek a Boo'!

Well anymore with the resolution of the ultra sounds,
if you can see the screen you are probably going to figure it out on your own.
