    Default Rash on Face

Hey guys I have this rash of sorts on the left side of my face and my wife insists that it has something to do with a possible bacteria on my straight razor blades, the brushes, the soaps etc. So, what do you disinfect your blades and brushes with and also possibly the soaps which may have the bacteria on them? I have never had a problem in the eight years that I have been doing this but she is an RN and you know that they know everything when it comes to stuff like this. LOL

Oh! this could also be an allergic reaction to some of the aftershaves that I use. I have not added any new aftershaves in quite a few months so ????????????????

Stop shaving the left side of your face.

    That will please SWMBO

i've never tried to "clean" any of my soaps or creams. I generally use only 1 brush until I get bored and switch to another (every couple of months) and let it dry with the hair hang down. maybe one a year they all get shampooed and that is it for cleaning them for me.

razors I wipe any oils off and rinse in very hot tap water before shaving and dry well after. new to me razors visit rubbing alcohol and barbercide baths first.

Perhaps the wife has tried something different on her face hands or in the laundry and it got on your cheek...

    whenever possible blame the wife.

    enjoy,
