The last time I was there, there was a decent selection of straights (Dovos and TIs) and DEs. I wanted another dozen barber towels. Theirs were $10 each! No way, not when I can get them online for $12 to $15 a dozen. But, if I wanted a TI razor, I'd go there in an instant. That's the only place around here that sells straights, and with TI's hit or miss quality, I'd only buy if I could see it first.
I'd be polishing their name off the thing though...lol

Pretty much the only thing I would get there is the shaving cream, or possibly the soap if they had some of the old tallow formulation still in stock. I've gotten their pre-shave oil and aftershave balm there before, but I've found alternatives for each that were more effective for me and less expensive.

I feel the same. I really liked the shaving cream, but I just tried Shave Secret and found the same, if not better results than i had with their pre shave oil and I made my own after shave lotion with shea butter, a lil coconut oil, and sandalwood, kush, and myrrh EO's that I prefer over their AS balm.

Slightly off subject but along the same lines. Body shop is running a 40% sale. I stopped in to check out what they had. Got a tub of Maca Root shave cream and aftershave lotion. The cream lather was super easy to build from a micro amount on the brush. It was an epic fail with a straight razor. The soap made the razor want to dig in and had no glide what so ever. With a DE, it was fine. The after shave was nice but not as good as say, Nivia men care aftershave. Still find myself draw back to Proaso.
