Those of us who have been fortunate to learn so much from them will at some point owe the next round of new members the same hospitality. Any time you find yourself in possession of old/traditional methods, you're entrusted to keep that alive by passing the knowledge on to others. And that applies to just about anything you might call specialized or traditional. The fewer the number of people with that knowledge, the more important your participation becomes. I'll bet you didn't think you'd be accountable for so much when you signed up. LOL.

Thanked: 1587The mentors are a great asset to our community. The wealth of knowledge, the welcoming atmosphere, the friendly banter, the unstinting willingness to help out members new and old. Their contribution to the site is almost incalculable (though, if I had to calculate it for say....I don't know....Sharptonn, I reckon I could get away with just fingers, maybe a toe or two... )

Just think, if you had to go out and pay someone to teach you this stuff. Everything from shaving and razors to honing and stropping and hands on restoration.
Maybe we should send all you guys a bill-har har.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Being a mentor, I do appreciate the folks who come to me or call. I have had to do a lot research to be able to answer some of their questions. I have not had a poor actor show up nor a broken appointment. Thanks guys!
