Thanked: 8CrOix Help
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone here can tell me where to get a CrOix crayon? I have tried Straight Razor Designs but sadly every time I go there it says "out of stock" Does anyone here know somewhere I can buy one?

My crayon will probably last 10 years. PM me if you run out of ideas. I can share - even with a practicing pagan.

i usually buy a few packets of CrOx (chromium Oxide) powder from Larry @ Whipped Dog....it's a high quality powder...you just mix about a Teaspoon full of powder with a bit of mineral oil until you have a "finger paint" like consistency....then just use a paint brush to apply to a piece of balsa Wood....let that dry...wipe off any excess with a clean towel and you've got a nice CrOx strop that will last for a LONG time...
he also had FeOx.(Iron oxide) powder as well which is red....his CrOx is about 0.3 microns....and the FeOx is about 0.1 microns....it's a great final strep I'm your honing or refreshing routine...really makes a nice keen but smooth shaving edge....
if its easier for you,.he also sells something called the "poor man's strop" which is a piece of balsa wood which Larry applies the CrOx on one side and the FeOx on the other side for you....its only $10 and lasts many, many refreshes
