Default What do you call yourself?

I recently completed some interior renovation work for a client I got to know on a more personal basis. We had time to chat while working and discussed each or our interests.
When I mentioned straight razors he showed interest as his include oriental swords.
Anyway he eventually asked "what do you call a gentlemen that shave with a straight razor"?
I was unable to give him the answer he was looking for.
So I've been wondering,... is there is a term or phrase that describes the unique habit/hobby we all share?
Other than "a guy that shaves with a straight razor" or "the weirdo that collects razors"
If not,....any suggestions on what we should/could be named?

Here's what we've got sofar (that incorporates in the name) who we are and what we do,.....

    “Gentlemen of old school shaving”
    "straight shavers”
    "straight razor shaver"
    "wet Shaver”
    “cut throat razor shaver”
    “Razor Geezer”
    "Classic shaver"
    "Tonsorial Technician"
    "traditional wet shaver"
    "Rasiermesserbesessenmann

Surely a "gentleman of distinction" would be apropos?

Besides what other's have said, "Crazy!", "You do what?", "You're nut's", "Meshuggener Kopf", "That's downright stupid!", "You are one oddball.", I would imagine the sobriquet "Living on the Edge Shaver".

Yes we might just be all of those but,.....

Is there a "term" that describes what we do in the name?

I believe the word my wife used to describe was shaking the head and as she called me a, "Dumba$$!", then she said the straight shaving thing sounded interesting and hoped I enjoyed it.....

I've never thought of it in terms of how I describe myself to the world since, like most of us I imagine, I don't announce my grooming habits to the world as a matter of course, when I've spoken of others who shave with straights, I've just called them "straight shavers". For example, advising a newbie to find another local straight shaver to help him on his way.

Interested to see what others come up with. Hopefully there's something a whole lot better than my lame phrase.

Maybe... I'm hoping someone has something a bit more creative though. Preferably a massive long German compound word.
