Thread: Thank You to All Mentors

That is a great tale of good mentor-ship and friendship!
Thanks for letting others on the forum know about us and what we love to do!

I have two mentors. One who tells me gently when I've bought crap and gives me excellent edges, and the other that has a weird sense of humor that I enjoy while also providing me with excellent edges. Both do so willingly and without complaint. I know that as with all the mentors, this drive to teach and share their knowledge of this hobby/sport/life style/or what ever you want to call it, is not publically appreciated often enough. To all the new straight razor shavers who feel they can start at the finish, talk to a mentor and realize how far behind the staring line you are and put aside ego and pride and open your mind to the learning these mentors are providing you at no cost to you. Equate for a moment, what it would cost you for a session with a professional that charges $100 per hour. For that's what I think these mentors (and the professionals that contribute there time freely) are, at a minimum are worth!
