Thanked: 0Dubl duck acquired.
I just picked up a Dubl Duck razor at an antique store. I was just wondering if I was to sell it which would fetch a better price: leaving it as is looking vintage or restoring it. If I do restore it, it won't be for awhile. I don't have a lot of practice with restoration and I don't want to ruin this before I'm good. Basically just want to know what you guys think would be better.

Need some pics to look at before making any decisions. BTW, we love pics at this site. With some pics to look at we can basically see what it needs and give some hits of what you can do to it. Also, if you are a str8 razor shaver and have never tried a DD once you do you won't want to sell it, I won't sell mine. They are highly sought after and regarded as a top notch shaver.

What kind of Dubl Duck is it? No.1, Goldedge, Satinedge, Wonderedge?

I'm curious too as to which one owen88 has. Mine is a Satin Wedge, you don't see a lot of them. I like wedges best, the bigger the better so my little DD SW doesn't get much use but enough love not to let it go..........

Thanked: 0My question is if it would be worth more cleaned up or as is.

It depends who the customer is. A shaver would prefer it one way while a collector would like it another.
