Thread: SRP APP?

Is there going to be a straight razor place app sometime in the future? Has there been nah talk of this?

Doesn't the TapaTalk interface pretty much take care of that?

Tapatalk handles the forums feature pretty well, but nothing beyond that. I often wish I could browse Classifieds, for example, on my phone, but Tapatalk doesn't do that and viewing the regular SRP site on a phone screen isn't easy. For my part, I can always get to a laptop or desktop if I choose, so it's not a big deal. If some eager beaver decided to build an SRP app, though, I'd line up to beta test.

I agree. I would like to view the site better from my phone if I'm stuck in a waiting room or at the john.

There's an app for the SRP database of straight razors and their history. It was developed last year by an SRP member. You can find it in Google Play as "Straight Razor Database" by Redfruit.

I can't find the google play app on my iPhone. Is it an android only thing?

Google Play has apps for Android. iTunes has the apps for iOS (i.e., operating system for iPhones and Apple mobile products).

Last I heard, the SRP app was only available for Android. I am not sure if one will be available for iOS.

That's a little disappointing. This is the first time I've been let down by the iPhone
