Thread: Hello All

After a 2 year absence I have returned to the insanity. I was a member of the yahoo group and got the str8 bug bad. I couldn't get enough razors, soaps, creams, aftershaves, brushes...etc. I shave with a str8 everyday, I haven't bought anything shaving related in 2 years and I am only halfway through my stuff. Total madness.

I had Lynn hone 6 razors for me 2 years ago and have been ok with stropping alone...until now. I have a Norton 4/8, pastes, paddles, videos...but lack the skill to hone without a lack of trying. If there is anyone who lives in AZ or NYC who would be willing to get together and give me a 'lesson' I would really appreciate it.

I'm not the one to teach you how to hone as I am learning to do so myself - good results so far (keep the fingers crossed!).

Just curious - where in NY are you located? I'm from Long Island.

Welcome back. I live in Tucson, AZ, but again I don't feel qualified to teach anybody to hone at this point. Just like Razorburn, I have had luck, but I am waiting to see if it is anymore than that. Still, it is good to have you back on SRP.
