Thanked: 522Graduation Day
For the last approximately six months I have been teaching Josh a.k.a. wyobarbershop how to sharpen razors. Today we test shaved two razors that he honed and finished on his (used to be my ) Zulu stone. These were two of the finest, sharpest, smoothest edges I have ever shaved with. We have an outstanding honer in our ranks. Josh has graduated with a 4.0 gpa. He has developed a very fine touch on the stones.
Best student I ever had.JERRY

Glen and Lynn, take note, there is a shark in our midst. Conrats to Josh. Did you get a paper and ink diploma? If not PM me and I'll write one up for you for mrself63 to sign. (I do a little calligraphy now and then).

No Diploma yet guys! I still have some troubleshooting to learn. Chips, smiles, frowns etcetera. I'm greatful to Jerry Sell for the edges that I'm getting and the comfortable shaves. With our one on one sessions he was able to guide me and immediately steer me away from bad habits.
I look forward to learning a boat load more about honing, troubleshooting, and stropping.
