Default Quality People On This Site

Just wanted to mention we have a lot of quality people on this site who are also vendors of certain products.

Bought a strop from Tony Miller which is great by itself, but you get another, Free.

Had a problem on Ebay with a Belgium and posted it on this site. At that time I did not know Howard sold Belgiums. I bought a Belgium from Howard and because he read my post on this site, sent me a stone worth far more than what I paid.

Yea, where all in the same boat, we all need to make a living, but these gentleman go out of thier way to make you happy.

If they're are a lot of newbies out there who have made thier minds up that they are going to become straight razor shavers, man, you don't have to go far to buy what you need from quality people.

    They're all right here.

Yep, you can't beat word of mouth.

Just one problem: the number of 'people of quality' on this site is inversely proportional to the the quality of my bank balance!

You still have a bank account balance?

Of course we need to mention Jim at Vintage Blades and who can forget Colleens wonderful products? if you have not tried them they will gladly lighten your wallet.

Absolutely, if it wasn't for all the great people here I don't think I'd be nearly as obsessed at this point. There's all the great individuals....
Tony's great strops (gonna need a #1 soon)
Colleen's wonderful soaps (I've got about a 2 yr supply of bath soaps now to stock up on some more shaving soaps and creams)
JoshEarl's newbie friendly/shave-ready razors (still loving my first straight even with the newer, fancier Dovo sitting next to it)
Lynn's excellent honing (the Bismark is amazing... thx Lynn, I know where all future new razors will go first )

and the excellent bigger vendors like ClassicShaving.com that's had great customer support and fills all the rest of the niches...

I just wish I had more money (and bathroom space) so I could try out all of the other cool vendors'/individuals' products... VintageBlades, Maestro Livi's creations, Joe Chandler's restorations, Garythepenman's scale work, Shavethebadger's custom brushes, PapaBull's custom razors (I know I'm missing a LOT, my apologies, definitely not intentional)... *sigh*

I guess I'll just have to keep chipping away one at a time

One certainly gets what one pays for. I think the problem is getting more than one can afford!

I had not intended a libleous statement. Colleen's soap are very reasonably priced. The only "problem" is that the truly fine products provided by the wonderful vendors here is the wide variety of high quality products they offer makes it difficult to just buy 3 or 4, you want to buy 10. I think the issue is that knowing our various "disorders" they "enable" them. Not that i really mind... Now when is Colleen releasing the EDT?
