Thread: Looking for ideas for shaving videos

Hi! I am planning out the videos we are going to film and since I am new on here, want your opinion!
What questions do you have about shaving that you'd like to see answered by the Sharp Ladies?

Already watched the current Videos and fhey are great, super informative and really well done! What about a Video about Traveling Gear for Ladies? I know when we go on vacation I will often just shave before and not again until I return but my Wife always packs a razor along with her other gear... What Tips and Tricks may there be along those lines?

I like what your doing for the ladies. I have a neighbor gal that stated she wanted me to shave her legs. Now, aside from where that may lead, I am wondering just exactly what that would be like. Do I have her sit in a chair or stand or ??? If we where a couple the positions we would get into to have the right angles and such would not be so...... awkward (for lack of a better term). I am sure couples with an intimate relationship could easily work through this but they might also like to see a less intimate approach. Maybe lying down like getting a massage? I think you get what I mean here. I just can't picture where to begin without looking like I have an ulterior motive.

Maybe you could provide a bit of info on the difference for use of a straight or smiling blade on a Str8 or even the different DE options like the curved blade set ups?

Also maybe the different types of DE's like fixed v's adjustable when applied to your shaving needs
As I know I can shave my arms with no problem with a str8 but have filleted my wrist with a DE thinking it would be safer & easier LOL so I stick with the str8.

It would be nice to see what ladies vintage razors have been used in the past and what is available today.

HI, sharp question! The best way is sitting or laying down, for sure! She is going to want to be as comfortable as possible and if it's her first time being shaved one or both of you may get a little nervous

My favorite way to be shaved is laying on my back, on the floor with a towel under and head on a pillow. Clothes are optional. When shaving this way, I usually recommend using a bowl with warm water instead of the sink or bath.

I have honestly learnt something new here about the DE’s myself & I hope the 1st video gets located in the DE forum Stickies as I believe it would be beneficial to all DE users & collectors new or old
the 2nd is a great overview of the Ladies options in a vintage DE

Job well done, you are doing an excellent service for the Wet Shaving community as a whole not just the ladies you may have originally been targeting by producing these videos for all to enjoy & benefit from.
