    Default Facial Dryness between shaves

I have not shaved in 3 days(shaving today). longest time not shaved since I got my Safety razor. Well today I noticed peeling on my face. looks like dandruff. does anyone else have this problem? what do you do to solve this? lotion?

Take your time until your skin gets conditioned to shaving with a new method. Less pressure on the blade, one pass instead of two or two passes instead of three - like that.

For the first several months with a straight razor I definitely benefited from skin balms. I found Proraso (or Nivea, or Noxema) after shaving kept my skin moist and comfortable, especially in cold weather. A year later, not so much. I rarely use (need) lotion now but always apply my own brew of witch hazel/aloe/iso-alcohol/lemon essence as conditioner/disinfectant. I prefer the Proraso feel and scent over Nivea and Noxema but Noxema price/availability is impossible to beat.

A result of severe razor burn rather than "dryness?"
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

It sounds like razor burn if its peeling. Find a good aftershave balm for sensitive skin. Bulldog makes a great one. Try that and their moisturizer between shaves, lot less pressure, and change your blade every 3-4 shaves you should be good.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Cetaphil moisturizing cream works well for dry skin.

Ooooooooooo. I saw your neck photos in your shave log, Dema.

Higher angle and a sharper blade may help along with all of above.
