Thread: Will this blade work in place of my original?

I have this Valet Auto Strop blade for a VC2 razor.


Will this one below work in place of it? I need some new blades and from the looks it will work, but I want to be sure.

I deleted the duplicate thread you posted in the 'razors' forum. Posting duplicate threads is against the rules here on SRP. Please just be patient and wait for an answer to the original thread. One way to know if the modified blade will work is to try it and see.

I would preferred you deleted this one, because I was trying to delete this one and put it in razors. Where it sort of belongs. But I couldn't find a way to do that. And I have been waiting quite a while...........

The second blade is a feather SE yes?
If so it should work with most of the VB2 and VC2 models.

Where have you been looking. I too am curious because I like the looks of the old lather catchers and such. All I keep finding is people selling and not really much of a forum about them. I was hoping to find a site like this, just focused on the old single edge razors.
