Can't carry razor blades on the plane (of course). Should be okay in your checked bag.

Blades are fine in checked baggage, one would be nutz to try and carry them in non checked,DOH

If you want to take your razor blade on the plane you have to put the package in a balloon and... Ohh wait

Hopefully they did not give you to much trouble.

Personally, I think it comes down to how anal the TSA agents that are working any given check-point are, for instance I forgot recently to remove my blade from my DE in my carry-on and had no problems going through. But a couple of years ago, I had new in package set of easy-outs in my carry-on that went through 3 different TSA check points with no issues, but on the fourth they were confiscated. Go figure,

If a small knife is ok. Why not a DE razor blade? I travel a lot this was the first time it was a problem. Carry on for those that asked.

PS -- I'm not checking a bag for a two day trip for a razor blade.

Most likly all the pilots and crew had their necks slashed with Razor blades on 9/11, can you blame the TSA for banning them??
