No blame. I was law enforcement at one time and understand rules. Just surprised and will be traveling with cartridge razors from now on.

You can always mail a blade or two to your destination a few days ( week ) in advance. When I was shaving with a DE this is how I would do it. I would save the wrapper and use it to re-wrap the blade and drop it in the sharps box on the way out.

By the way most hotels will hand you a sharps box of your own if you ask when you check in...
Please don't drop used DE blades in the trash....

And bring your cart as a back-up.

+1 I have sent ahead to all my friends places and must have close to a hundred Feathers in guest baths from Hawaii to Key West and all the ships at sea. If that doesn't work, plan B is some execrable blades from Wallgreens etc., or the disposable cart.

Yes. It gives the traveling public a false sense of security.

The Rewrap is just for the trip from the room to the Lobby restroom - which always seems to have a sharps box. Booby-trapping the wastebasket is bad form...as I'm sure you will agree..

    Smooth shaving...
